The phone seems to be pretty slim, measuring at 6.9 mm. Lenovo claims that it is the thinnest phone in its class. It supports a stainless steel and polycarbonate body. It weights mere 162 grams only though 50 grams heavier than Apple’s new iphone 5!!!
Hardware Overview
It comes with PowerVR SGX MP2 533 MHz GPU.This all package from Intel sound’s pretty cool. It has screen made up of IPS panel. More surprisingly its pixel-per-inch ratio is 400!!!!! Yep man it’s 400 more than iphone 5. This 400ppi ratio means it has got 1920*1080 full HD screen. Also UI of Lenovo is cool enough to use it more user friendly.
A few more deets on Intel's Z2580: it's a 32-nanometer chip, so it does not use the 22-nanometer 3D chip tech seen in Intel's Ivy Bridge PC processors. That 22-nanometer phone chip will come later this year. Its equipped with 2GB of RAM so there’s no stopping of this phone from doing anything.
Coming to its photographic perception , we can’t deny to say that it may have outrun many digital cameras also along with smart phones due to its capability The K900's camera takes 13-megapixel with dual flash pictures using a Sony CMOS Exmor BSI sensor That could yield image quality on par with stand-alone digital camera. It’s capable of full HD (1080p) recording. The camera on the phone seems to be similar to the recently announced Xperia Z by Sony at same event where k900 was revealed. Not to forget its front camera coming with 2MP 88degree front view capturing wide perspective image.
There has been no pricing announced yet for the phone. When Lenovo revealed the phone they also revealed an Antutu benchmark score of over 27,000 for the Intel powered phone. Just to put that into perspective for you all, the MT6577 benchmarks at around 5500, the MT6589 benchmarks at 13500 and the Qualcomm Quad Core S4 pro chip (Which powers the nexus 4 and other phones) only benchmarks at around 17,000.
In fact the only phone to come close to the “Intel Inside” powered phone is the Xiaomi M2 which has an Antutu score of 22,000.Also Samsung note-2 & S3 and Apple iphone-5 are way behind this phone!!!!!!!! The K900 will become available from China in April, and will roll out to select markets sometime after. Unfortunately, there currently isn’t any news on other important specifications, such as how long the battery will last, nor has there been any word on pricing. Expect to hear more about the phone as we get closer to the 2013 Mobile World Congress, which takes place at the toward of February.
So this phone definitely justifies the statement by Lenovo –“For those who do” what say fellas??
